The Goal (Television special): Maximize exposure for successful TrimSpa spokesperson and PGA pro, John Daly
Our Approach: The TrimSpa Challenge Television Special aired repeatedly on Fox Sports Net to give TrimSpa a platform to help associate their brand with one of the most popular “man of the people” golfers of all time in an entertaining manner. The show also featured entertaining vignettes which gave tips on better golf through better health. We also generated additional PR interviews with John and promotion with radio, and on shows such as “Best Damn Sports Show” and many more!
The Results: The show not only generated response for TrimSpa, but also enable on site sampling, additional PR generation, and an opportunity to introduce their brand to a targeted consumer. It was an important part of a media and celebrity mix that was beginning to move the brand past competitors for the lead in retail sales!
The Goal (ad campaign): To separate TrimSpa’s X32 from their competitors in terms of both top-of-mind awareness as well as imaging.
Our Approach: Next Wave produced the first two spots in the long-running “Anna” campaign to showcase Anna’s success on the product. By shooting on film, our goal for the client was to create a campaign image that was different than any competing product.
The Results: In a little more than a year, this is an ongoing centerpiece of a multi-tiered campaign which has become more than a supplement: “TrimSpa Baby” is one of the most successful unaided recall tools in recent history. The sales and new retail channels from Target to WalMart to Costco are the proof!
